Cars have been a way of life for Nick Salyer since childhood. In his youth he developed an incredible mechanical aptitude by helping work on his father's 1968 Mustang. When Nick was old enough to drive he began modifying his own vehicle. His interest in making fast cars led him into the world of turbocharging. During the high school years Nick began to make his own parts to make more power. His peers admired his abilities as a fabricator and began hiring Nick to modify their cars.

In response to the demands of his services Nick started NSFabrication in 2004, producing custom fabricated components for DSM's. A few years later the welder was set aside in favor of the soldering iron. To expand the offerings of NSFabrication Nick began modifying stock ECU's to support the demands of the highly modified engines he built. After finding the limits of factory fuel injection ECU's, Standalone engine management became the next addition to the lineup of Nick's abilities.

Today NSFabrication fills a void in the professional racing industry: Electrical Systems. Nick took advantage of his experience in aviation electrical systems to offer the most efficient and robust automotive electrical systems in the industry. In the past race teams and automotive enthusiasts alike were forced to dive into the art of wiring themselves, often experiencing failures or malfunctions.
